The Careers Service assists future and current students, employers and graduates in the following ways:

Future Students

Assists future students in gathering all necessary information to make an informed decision about their future course selection and career path. To have your online course inquiry answered complete the course inquiry form.

Current Students

Assists Current Students with job applications and job search strategies through a variety of employment preparation resources, weekly careers drop-in sessions and access to an online industry jobs board which has job vacancies uploaded every day.

Graduates

Assists Graduates in remaining in contact with important networking and employment opportunities as well as having access to employment preparation material.

To access the Job Application and Business Start-up resources on the Careers Service website you will need to complete the Careers web form for your login details to be sent to you.

Employers

Assists Employers in promoting their organisation and job vacancies to current students and graduates on the College’s online jobs board. Company profiles and career paths are also made available for students to find out more about potential future employers.

Come and ask your career question at our weekly drop-in sessions which are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm – 1 pm (AEST) either online or at the Brisbane Campus Library.

I have worked in the higher education sector for the last 12 years with the majority of that time focusing on assisting students with career and program advice. I am currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Careers Education and Development to add to my already completed Master of Management (Human Resources) and Bachelor of Teaching degrees. My higher education work experiences and the knowledge I have gained from my studies, compliments my passion for empowering students to develop their employability skills to allow them to not only find work during their studies and after they graduate but more importantly to give students the confidence to strive for the best employment outcome that aligns with their future career goals.
